The Return to Yourself Ritual
This month’s ritual is for the moments when you feel full, heavy, or like you’ve been carrying too much for too long.

A gentle practice to help you come back to yourself under the energy of the Flower Moon.
You’ll need
a candle
a journal and pen
a cup of tea, cacao, or your moon elixir
a small bowl of water
optional: rose petals, crystals, or a favorite oil
Step 1 — Create your space
Find a quiet place where you can be undisturbed for a few moments.
Light your candle. Place your tea or elixir beside you. Let this be your signal that you are stepping out of the noise and back into yourself.
Step 2 — Ground into your body
Sit comfortably and place one hand on your heart and one on your belly.
Take three slow breaths.
With each exhale, imagine your body softening a little more.
Step 3 — Name what you’ve been carrying
Gently ask yourself:
What have I been carrying that is not mine? What feels heavy in me right now?
Write whatever comes up. Do not overthink it. Let it be honest.
Step 4 — Offer it release
When you feel ready, read back what you wrote quietly to yourself.
Then say:
I release what is not mine to hold. I return to my own energy. I make space for softness, truth, and renewal.
Step 5 — Cleanse and clear
Dip your fingers into the bowl of water and gently touch your wrists, heart, or back of the neck.
As you do, imagine anything heavy beginning to wash away.
If you are using oil, you can place a little on your heart or wrists here too.
Step 6 — Call yourself back
Close your eyes for a moment and say:
I call my energy back to me. I call my body back into peace. I call myself back home.
Sit in stillness for a few breaths and notice what shifts.
Step 7 — Seal the ritual
Take a sip of your tea or elixir slowly.
Let it be the final act of receiving.
You may like to close with this:
May I move through this month with clarity, gentleness, and deeper trust in myself.
This ritual does not need to be perfect. It only needs to be honest.
Sometimes healing begins in very small, quiet ways — a candle, a breath, a moment of truth, and the choice to come back to yourself.
