As the wheel of the year turns, we find ourselves at Beltane, a sacred midpoint between Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice. This festival is alive with fertility, fire, and blossoming dreams. The Earth is buzzing with creation. And so are you.
Whether you're feeling creatively on fire or a little tender in your soil, Beltane is a moment to pause and root deeply into your body, your intuition, and your magic.
I want to share a ritual that’s brought me peace, clarity, and renewal time and time again…
A simple, potent Tree Prayer Ritual.
The Story That Planted This Ritual
Years ago, I was feeling unsure about my next step. I’d finished another round of teaching, the students were thriving, but I could feel something within me shifting. Not a breakdown… a breaking open.
One morning, I wandered into the Belair National Park in Adelaide, near my home at that time. There was a particular tree I always passed but that day, I stopped.
I placed my hand on its rough bark. I closed my eyes. And I asked:
“What wants to grow through me now?”
I didn’t expect an answer.
But I felt it. To be honest, I can't believe I didn't see it sooner, it had been there all along.
Every part and experience of my life lead me to that point. My own journey as a guide and as an oracle was deepening.
That was the beginning of The Oracle’s Journey.
A place where my roots in printing and my passion for Tarot came together. My signature course!
Fun Fact: Did you know that my dad, my hero, has been awarded many accolades in the Printing industry in Latin America, and after 70 years in the industry, at 85 years old he is still running his printing business!

Your Beltane Tree Ritual
Here’s how you can honour this sacred season with your own ritual. You don’t need to be in the forest, even a potted plant will do.
What You’ll Need:
✅ A tree (or large potted plant)
✅ A candle
✅ Incense (Ylang Ylang or Cinnamon)
✅ A cup of water
✅ Coloured ribbons (one for each wish)
🌿 Step-by-Step
1. Begin at Sunrise (or when you feel called)
Approach your chosen tree. Light your candle at its base. Breathe deeply.
2. Light Your Incense
Use the flame from your candle to light your incense. Place it in the ground beside the tree or in a holder nearby.
3. Offer the Water
Pour your water at the roots, whispering, “Thank you for all you give.”
4. Speak Your Gratitude
Place your hand on the bark and give thanks for what this tree (and Life itself) has offered you: the lessons, the joy, the stillness, the breath.
5. Tie Your Wish Ribbons
Choose a ribbon for each intention or prayer. One by one:
✔️ Hold the ribbon to your heart.
✔️ Speak your wish into it.
✔️ Tie it to a branch.
6. Sing. Dance. Rejoice.
Beltane is not quiet, it’s a celebration! Let yourself move. Feel joy ripple through you. You are alive. You are allowed.
Make It Daily
To deepen this ritual, return to your tree daily for 7 days. Just for a few minutes:
✔️ Light your candle and incense
✔️ Offer water
✔️ Sit and breathe
✔️ Speak your gratitude
When one of your wishes comes true, return to remove the ribbon with reverence. Spirit heard you!
