Intuition Bliss Bites with Sacred Cacao

Intuition Bliss Bites

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup hazelnuts

  • 1 cup dates (pitted)

  • 1 tablespoon cacao powder (optional for extra chocolate flavour)

  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (or to taste)

  • Pinch of cinnamon

  • Sacred cacao, grated and melted

  • Agave sugar (or icing sugar, as an alternative)

  • Flaked sea salt (for sprinkling)



Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Bliss Balls:

    • In a food processor, combine the hazelnuts, dates, cacao powder, maple syrup, and cinnamon. Blend until the mixture forms a sticky dough.

    • Roll the dough into small balls, placing a whole hazelnut in the centre of each one.

    • Place the rolled balls on a tray and refrigerate for 20 minutes to set.

  2. Coat the Balls:

    • While the balls are chilling, grate and melt the sacred cacao (you can use a double boiler or microwave with caution).

    • Once melted, stir in agave sugar (or icing sugar) to sweeten, adjusting to your desired taste.

    • Take the chilled balls out of the fridge and dip each one into the melted cacao mixture, ensuring they are fully coated.

    • Sprinkle lightly with flaked sea salt.

  3. Final Chill:

    • Return the coated bliss balls to the fridge for another 20 minutes to set and firm up.

  4. Serve and Enjoy!
